Hello my gardening friend,

Me in my garden

My name is Anette. I’m just a normal woman, wife and mother, 46 years and with three children.

I spend a lot of time in my garden. Sometimes it’s a lot of fun, and sometimes it’s also a bit of work. But I really enjoy the fresh air and to see how everything grows in my garden. My two girls, Majbritt and Cecilia, also love to spend time in our garden. Recently they’ve gotten their own little piece of the garden where they try to grow different plants and vegetables.

Now, before you get the wrong impression, my garden is not one of those sophisticated, extremely beautiful gardens that are closed to everyone else than the gardener herself. No, in my family we’ve always wanted to have a garden that the whole family is allowed to use. We use it to relax, to enjoy God’s creation, as a place to eat, a place to play and as a place to grow delicious food. In short, we spend quite a lot of time in our garden. We use it and enjoy it. We don’t just sit at a distance and look at it without getting near.

Besides spending time in the garden I love long walks, good food, spending time with my husband and my children, going to church and viewing a good movie.

I started this blog because I want to share my personal experience as a gardener with others – and, of course, learn from others too.
